Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a community service and work-based job training program for older Americans aged 55 or older. National Able Network connects Iowans with opportunities at host agencies to gain on-the-job, paid work experience in their very own community! Additionally, SCSEP participants receive career and technology training to achieve their employment goals.

Host agencies, which include 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, local businesses, or other public agencies, that work with our SCSEP participants receive no-cost, reliable staff whose wages are covered in full. SCSEP provides a mutually beneficial opportunity for host agencies and older Americans to connect and work together toward a thriving community.
